About a year ago, some friends and I were talking about sucker bar bets and I mentioned the gallon of milk one. One of my friends says, "I love milk, I could totally do that." So we negotiated terms of the bet, which basically said that he had an hour to drink a gallon of milk and if he drank it all and didn't puke for another hour after that, I would give him a hundred bucks. It was pretty risky because I had never seen this attempted before, just heard that it couldn't be done. The reason that I've heard is that the amount of bacteria in a whole gallon of milk is well above the threshold that your body will tolerate without vomiting, which sounded logical to me. Anyway, he downed the first liter in just a few minutes, which made me worry that it might not be so impossible. It took him 10 or 12 minutes to drink the second liter and he started to look a little pale, but he still had plenty of time. After sipping half of the third liter for about 15 minutes, he put the glass down, said "I lost" and was puking 30 seconds later. The event was captured on a digital camera and I wanted to share it with you. Enjoy.
